lupe had stepped back in her command of the navy for now for two reasons: first to give destiny her chance to shine at fully commanding the fleet and secondly to make herself known in the kingdom as the third in overall command of the kingdom, should god forbid that rayna and wren shoudl both fall at the same time. She still held her title as fleet admiral but unless she saw she had to step back into over all command of the navy, Destiny woudl be in charge of that division.
Listening to the queen, she had taken her advice and started to get to knwo the people and places of Horn better by touring the kingdom. seh already knew Mora and with her being that far out she might as well start with the other far away dutchy. That of Kabal.
So now she stood on the forecastle of the darkstar, her hands on the railling feeling the wind in her face, she watched the twin volcanos of Kabals only major port come into view, both of them smoking to show that they were active. As tehy got closer to land, Mr Green, the darkstars bosun and third in command started to take the only safe course into the harbour. it wasn't easy lupe knew as she watched the steam from the sea rise in the air as it hit the lava flows from the volcano's on either side of the the port. What woudl it take another few years before this port woudl be closed off due to the lava flows adn water making new land here.
The darkstar floated in silently and made birth. As she was tied off, Lupe took the fastest way to the dock by going over the side of the Darksar and slidign down the foreward tie off line and down to the dock itself. Seh grabbed the nearest dockwork and sent him with world to find the duke of the land and tell him an old friend had jsut made port and that she waitted for him in the nearest tavern. She also had him tell her were that was before she followed him up the dock and turned nt eh opposite direction that he did to find this seaside tavern adn get a drink of the local brew whiel she waitted for Kay to show up
